Is this blog legitimate?
Yes. Although there may be times where pages and posts sound like a joke, I assure you this is a real blog with real person behind it.
Why the strange style of writing?
Personal expression. This is my way of expressing my personality, and to be honest, I quite like it. You know the saying, “Use it or lose it”? I think that sums it up quite nicely. Not to toot my own horn, but I am quite confident in my writing.
What is the reason behind the name of the site?
Exactly what it says. I may be a “software developer” if you’re generous, but I am not a “software engineer”. Well, I had originally planned to name it “Failed Developer”, but a domain named “faileddev.dev” sounded rather off, so engineer it was. They both had a meaning that worked for my purposes anyway.
What is the purpose of this blog?
To document and compile the knowledge I have gained in software development, and possibly act as a resource to others.
Is this your real name?
No. I am but a mere coward who must hide behind a mask of anonymity to be able to freely express themselves. However, the name I have chosen to use here does have a meaning behind it.
Do you have professional experience in software development?
No. I do not. If I did, this blog would be named very differently. Or perhaps it might not exist at all.
